“Everyone can use a little cuteness in their life!”
MY STYLE IS:
“My designs come from the natural world – woodlands, trees, streams and gardens and all the creatures you just might find there if you look hard enough and sit still and quiet for long enough. I have a huge desire to create real and true with an element of magical and fantastical.”

THE SMALL THINGS:
“I really enjoy the preparation time. I love to get out my very carefully colour-sorted stash of vintage buttons and ponder which will be the lucky one to be chosen for that particular design.”
Create this adorable little baby doll any child will love!
PERFECT COMEBACKS:
“I do occasionally stray off the softie path and design something else, but I love to get back to making characters again. It makes me happy watching them come to life.”

“I feel as though I am genetically wired to craft and that I have craft running through my veins!”
THE PERSONAL TOUCH:
“If making a quilt for a family member, I love to spend time choosing fabrics in colours and prints that I know they’ll like. As I stitch the quilt, I like to think about that person, either pondering memories that I have of them or wondering what path their life will take.”

CRAFTER TO THE CORE:
“My earliest memories of crafting begin when I was around three years old, and I would paste pictures with fabric and yarn scraps from Mum’s projects. When I was in lower primary school, I LOVED receiving craft kits for birthdays and Christmas (does anyone remember Hansa brand craft kits?).”

STITCHING PLEASURES:
“I love to sit down at the end of the day, when the dishes have been done and my girls are settled for their night, and stitch in front of the television. And I love that I am carrying on a generational legacy of crafting, too.”
