Fall Colours Quilting Cruise to Canada & USA with Michelle Marvig
Travel in style on the MS Veendam on an enchanting 18-day cruise across the Atlantic Ocean. Headed by leading artisan and Quilter’s Companion regular Michelle Marvig, this tour will showcase some of the best crafting experiences the northern hemisphere has to offer. Be dazzled by the beautiful colours of fall while completing a busy itinerary with visits to various crafting stores and museums.
The tour will allow you to visit a variety of crafting stores across the two countries, giving you a chance to refill your stash with gorgeous American and Canadian supplies. Shops such as Quebec City’s Les Ateliers Quilt and Cotton store and Linda Fabrics in Miami will offer fresh supplies to meet all your crafting needs. Guided tours to museums and tourist hot spots also mean that you won’t miss out on your typical tourist experience. Whether it’s a visit to Montreal’s Old City or Boston’s New England Quilt Museum, the trip will be sure to have something for everyone.

USA Quilting Tour with Chris Jurd
Chris Jurd’s hugely popular tour will return in 2018 with a road trip to Chicago, Shipshewana, Houston and more. Change up your usual craft tutorials by attending workshops overseas – and none other than at the International Quilt Festival 2018 in Houston! You’ll be able to connect with crafters around the globe and take classes in applique, design and quilting in this world-famous fair for a climactic finish to the tour.
This trip will see you visiting a number of American craft stores like Quilters Quest in Chicago and Indianapolis’s Quilts Plus. You’ll also be sightseeing well-known locations, including the third-largest Amish area in the United States in the town of Shipshewana (which has a colourful culture of quilting and crafting).
